Puerto Príncipe.- El ministro de justicia de Haití, Michel Brunache, informó hoy que la justicia de ese país abrió una investigación sobre una supuesta trama organizada por un excoronel dominicano en relación con un ciudadano haitiano para desestabilizar el Gobierno del presidente Michel Martelly.
Brunache ofreció esta información durante una conferencia de prensa en Puerto Príncipe, tras participar ayer en Santo Domingo en una comparecencia en la que los gobiernos de República Dominicana y Haití denunciaron el complot.
El plan fue denunciado por el canciller dominicano, Carlos Morales Troncoso, el ministro de Justicia haitiano, Michel Brunache y el procurador general dominicano, Radhamés Jiménez, quienes atribuyeron el complot al excoronel Pedro Julio Goico Guerrero, conocido como «Pepe Goico», uno de los más estrechos colaboradores del expresidente Hipólito Mejía (2000-2004), candidato presidencial del opositor Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD).
Supuestamente, Pepe Goico estaría en contacto con un hombre haitiano identificado Pierre Kanzki, a quien habría pedido iniciar una campaña de denuncias de corrupción contra Martelly como parte de un plan de desestabilización.
Según un archivo de audio distribuido ayer por el Gobierno dominicano, Pepe Goico informa a Kanzki que Martelly ha sido señalado por un programa de televisión dominicano como beneficiario de varios millones de dólares supuestamente suministrados por el influyente senador oficialista local Félix Bautista.
«Una vez que hemos tenido la información, la hemos transmitido al fiscal, que está hacienda lo necesario, siguiendo las procedimientos previstos en la ley», declaro Brunache.
Medios haitianos que citaron fuentes judiciales dijeron hoy que fueron emitidas una orden de arresto y una prohibición de salida del país contra Kanzki y otras personas.
El ministro precisó que Kanzki es «un ciudadano haitiano. Sabemos dónde trabaja y dónde vive», agregó.
A propósito de la trama de desestabilización, el titular de justicia dijo que comprende todo acto que pueda influir negativamente sobre el plan del Gobierno.
«La estabilidad corresponde a muchas cosas», entre ellas «el respeto del mandato presidencial» y «lo que queremos (como Gobierno) para Haití», especificó.
«Si acusan falsamente de corrupción, un empresario no pondrá su dinero en un país donde hay corrupción», afirmó, al tiempo que subrayó que «esto desestabilizará al país».
«Imágenes negativas que son difundidas a través del mundo causan problema al país en términos de estabilidad», agregó.
