Santo Domingo.- Para este martes 27 de febrero, donde se celebra el 180 aniversario de la Independencia Nacional, el país tendrá desde tempranas horas las ocurrencias nublados con lluvias débiles, moderadas a fuertes con tronadas aisladas y ráfagas de viento, las cuales prevemos que continúen afectando en las horas matutinas provincias del Atlántico.
Estas condiciones estarán en provincias como Monte Cristi, Valverde, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Hermanas Mirabal, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Samaná, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, El Seibo y La Altagracia expandiéndose en la tarde y la noche al Sureste, Suroeste, Cordillera Central.
Además de puntos fronterizos afectando a San José de Ocoa, La Vega, Azua, San Juan, Elías Piña, Independencia, Barahona, Pedernales, San Cristóbal, El Gran Santo Domingo y el Distrito Nacional, San Pedro de Macorís y La Romana.
Debido a las precipitaciones esperadas para las próximas 24 a 48 horas, la Oficina Nacional de Meteorológica (ONAMET) mantiene los niveles de alertas y avisos meteorológicos, ante posibles crecidas de ríos, arroyos y cañadas, así como inundaciones urbanas.
